Neighbor Judy’s Chocolate Chip Cookies

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and light brown sugar until smooth.
Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and sea salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
Drop teaspoonfuls of dough onto an ungreased baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Adjust the size of the cookies to your preference.
Bake for 8-9 minutes, or until the tops of the cookies have a light touch of brown.
Remove from the oven and let the cookies sit on the baking sheet for 2-3 minutes to finish cooking.
Transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.
Enjoy your delicious homemade chocolate chip cookies!
