The base of the spread starts with two blocks of cream cheese. You’ll want to make sure they’re nice and soft so they’ll mix into a smooth consistency. Cold cream cheese = a chunky spread. Once you’ve whipped it to a silky texture, you’ll add the heavy whipping cream and mix until the two are well combined. Cover the bowl and pop it in the fridge for about 30 minutes to chill. Once the mixture has chilled, use an electric mixer to whip the contents until stiff peaks form. The last step is gently folding in the cranberry sauce and orange zest until evenly combined. Take a taste and I bet you’ll instantly be transported to a winter wonderland!

You’ll want to store the spread in an airtight container, bonus points if you pick a mason jar with a cute ribbon and gift it to your neighbor! Whether you’re hosting Christmas breakfast or just looking for a fun new recipe to try this holiday, our Christmas & Cream Spread is sure to get everyone in a holly-jolly mood. Happy holidays!
