Joe’s Crab Shack-Style Crab Dip Recipe

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).

Prepare the base: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with a spoon or spatula until smooth and creamy. Add the mayonnaise and sour cream, and mix until well combined.

Add seasonings and cheese: Stir in the minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, black pepper, cheddar cheese, and Parmesan until evenly incorporated.

Fold in the crab: Gently fold in the lump crab meat, being careful not to break up the chunks. This keeps those delicious bites of crab intact.

Bake: Transfer the mixture to a small oven-safe baking dish (such as a 1-quart casserole dish or several smaller ramekins) and spread it evenly. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the dip is hot, bubbly, and lightly golden on top.

Garnish and serve: Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped green onions. Serve warm with your choice of toasted bread, crackers, or tortilla chips.
